UFC on Fuel TV 8 Odds: Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann

On Saturday, March 3, 2012, the 8th Installment of the UFC on FUEL TV series will hit the airwaves from the historic Saitama Super Arena. In the main event, former PRIDE FC legend Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva will try to relive his Saitama Super Arena triumphs of years past against Brian Stann. Silva has declined greatly since the days when he ruled the Super Arena with an iron fist, but he’s still dangerous and aggressive. Only time will tell if he can recapture the magic one last time in his old stomping grounds.

In the semi-main event, versatile Heavyweight Stefan “Skyscraper” Struve will square off against former K-1 World Grand Prix champion Mark Hunt. Both of these guys have serious striking ability, but Struve has freakish reach and a spectacular ground game, so Hunt is going to have his hands full. In a featured Lightweight bout, Diego Sanchez will face off with former PRIDE superstar Takanori Gomi. Rounding out the card is a Middleweight showdown between highly-touted prospect Hector Lombard and former title challenger Yushin “Thunder” Okami.
