On Saturday, November 17, 2012, UFC 154 will hit the air live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In the main event, UFC Welterweight champion Georges “Rush” St. Pierre will look for a win in front of the hometown crowd against Interim UFC Welterweight champion “The Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit. This is St. Pierre’s first appearance since April of 2011, and it remains to be seen how much his injuries have affected his performance. Condit is a dangerous, well-rounded opponent, so if St. Pierre wants to retain his UFC title, he is going to need to perform at his pre-injury level. Condit, for his part, is going to have to find a way to neutralize St. Pierre’s seemingly unstoppable takedown game, because no one in the UFC is going to win a fight with St. Pierre on top of them.

In the semi-main event, Johny Hendricks will look to keep his impressive win streak alive against dangerous Danish kickboxer Martin “The Hitman” Kampmann. Hendricks is a tough guy with very heavy hands and a well-rounded game, but Kampmann is one of the most dangerous finishers in the UFC Welterweight division, both standing and on the ground. The rest of the card will feature a Middleweight bout between Francis Carmont and Tom Lawlor, a Heavyweight showdown pitting Cyrille Diabate against Chad Griggs, and a featherweight matchup featuring Mark “The Machine” Hominick facing Pablo “The Scarecrow” Garza.
