Odds for UFC Fight Night 17: Lauzon vs. Franca

On Saturday February 7, 2009 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida we will be treated to another free fight on Spike TV. This fight card in my opinion is one of the best Fight Nights put together. I will also be attending so I will get to see all 10 fights which is a plus.

In the main event we have two very tough and experienced lightweights going to war. Joe Lauzon (17-4) will be taking on Hermes Franca (19-7) in a match that could possible be fight of the night. Both fighters are coming off of victories, but only one can keep that streak in tact. Also on the card we have top heavyweight prospect Cain Velasquez (4-0) taking on UFC newcomer Denis Stojnic (5-1); Despite being involved in that DUI mess Josh Neer (21-7-1) will still be competing and taking on TUF season 6 winner Mac Danzig (18-5-1); After pulling out of UFC 91 Amir Sadollah (1-0) will now fight another UFC newcomer Nick Catone (5-0)
