- Well this seems to be another fight where everyone is writing off Tim Sylvia. Yes he might not be the most exciting fighter in the world, but the guy just seems to win. He’s notched up wins over Brandon Vera, Jeff Monson and Andrei Arlovski (2x). Sylvia has a great stand up game which will serve him well against Big Nog, because Tim definitely will not want this fight to happen on the mat.
- Big Nog on the other hand has arguably the greatest ground game in MMA besides BJ Penn. Nog will most likely try to take this fight to the ground and finish off Sylvia there.
- As for the betting odds on this fight, I think Sylvia is being a little undervalued. For a +150 favorite, he really has a great chance to take this fight. The value definitely lies with Tim right now…
