On Sunday January 4, 2009 World Victory Road will be showcasing its seventh event, Sengoku no Ran 2009 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, japan. It will feature Japanese favorite “The Fireball Kid” Takanori Gomi (29-4-1) taking on fellow Japanese fighter Satoru Kitaoki (23-8-9). Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (11-1) the first and last EliteXC HW champ is set to face Yoshihiro Nakao (7-1-2). Jorge Santiago (20-7) winner of Sengoku 6 Middleweight Grand Prix will take on Kazuo Misaki (21-8-2) who most recently defeated Joe “Diesel” Riggs at Strikeforce at The Mansion 2. Also undefeated Dave “Pee Wee” Herman (13-0) will take on Choi Mu Bae (7-3) in a fight I see Pee Wee taking pretty easily. There are many more good fights on this card so be sure to check it out and make sure you get your bets in on time seeing this fight card takes place in Japan. There is potential to make some money on this WVR card.
Check out my Sengoku 7 Picks.
