UFC 201 – A Brief Betting Guide

UFC 201 is all set to unfold in Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30th 2016 and the fight card looks very promising indeed. One fight that really catches the eye is the welterweight face off wherein reigning champ Robbie Lawler will take on Tyron Woodley. The fight will aired on a pay per view basis, in fact, it is UFC 201’s pay per view main event.

Another fight that stands out and is highly anticipated in UFC fight night 201 is the fight between fan favorite Rose Namajunas who will have to fend off the fiercely rising Polish female fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

Now let’s take a look at what bets could make you some moolah.

Looking at the women’s fight, it is important to consider the impeccable form that Rose “Thug” Namajunas has been in lately. Not only is she on a superb winning streak, but what really stands out is the manner in which she is winning her fights and the sheer confidence with which she is going into them.

Karolina is rising to fame at an unprecedented rate, but we feel that she is taking on a challenge much too difficult for her at this point in her career. We are pretty confident that Namajunas should be able to clinch the victory, but expect Karolina to create some problems for her.

Turning our attention to Lawler vs Woodley, it is hard to disagree with the bookies on this one. Both are tactical fighters, and are both not afraid to go with the flow either. However, Lawler looked a shadow of himself against Condit and that is not promising at all. Our pick for this would be Woodley by a first round knock – out.
